3D “Printers” are capable of creating objects, regardless of their data, directly from computer-assisted design software at high speed and at a reasonable cost. In general, printing objects are done in a few hours. The objects created are therefore an essential part of the testing and validation process.

  • Physical testing: With materials equivalent to the materials used in a large series (ABS, titanium, …), it will be possible to carry out tests on the pre-series: fall test, traction benches mounted under pressure … the ability to create parts quickly, it is impossible to do so, for small batches, using traditional processes.
  • Identify problems in time: 3D printing validates first functionalities defined in the specification. Printing business processes (kinematics, interlocking, trimming, etc.) to validate the assemblies by performing a real pre-production.
  • Ergonomics Test: models created quickly and easily, allows designers to test the ergonomics of the design and conduct studies in their form, to make it as ergonomic as possible.
